Emily is a “systems thinker” and typically takes an experiential family therapy approach, whether working with individuals or families. What does this mean? Emily creates an environment in therapy where clients can feel in-the-moment emotion and move through the change process in that emotion.

Emily is trained in systems theory, DBT (Dialectial Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), sand tray, and several other systemic theories.
